POLICY

The UAPB Homecoming Parade is one of a series of annual events where the University joins all its constituencies in acknowledgement and celebration of its mission and service to
Campaign materials may not be displayed on the elected official’s Only incumbent national, state, county and city elected officials participate in the parade. Identification of elected officials shall be limited to name and office held.
For safety reasons, no one will be allowed to ride on the hood of a car or Also, throwing treats or any objects to spectators along the parade route is forbidden.
All equestrian units must be bagged, or units must provide a person to pick up animal waste along the route and in staging area.
Parade entries do not include football game tickets.
Marching bands, dance teams, and other performance groups may perform along the parade route but shall not stop traffic or conduct routines that delay the forward progress of the parade.
All parade participants must obey the directions of parade marshals, law enforcement officers, and designated parade officials at all times.
All parade participants must conduct themselves in an acceptable and respectable manner. Music with vulgar language is prohibited.
